Program Description:
Spring Break Service Trips
Each Spring Break, the Agapé Center Service Trips team provides students with opportunities to engage with diverse communities through acts of service and fellowship.  Through service, we hope students will experience enriching and challenging growth which will help to foster learning of oneself, of the needs of others and of the role that service plays in society through a lens of Christian faith.
 
The Service Trips Team is now accepting applications for Spring Break Service Trips, which will take place between March 8-17, 2024.  Spots are limited and are filled on a first come, first serve basis.  For consideration, all applications must be received by January 26, 2024. We are looking for trip leaders, participants and drivers!

2024 LOCATIONS & DESCRIPTIONS:
  • Priority 1 Ministries: Bronx, New York
    • While in New York, students will be working with Priority 1 Ministries, learning more about the Bronx Community, and working with their partner organizations like Manna Soup Kitchen and World Vision.
      • COST: $50.00
      • DATES: March 8, 2024 - March 13, 2024
 
  • The Philly Project: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
    • While in Philadelphia, students will be working with TPP, helping to rebuild homes, working within their youth outreaches, doing a prayer walk throughout the city and more.
      • COST: $50.00
      • DATES: March 8, 2024 - March 13, 2024
 
  • Mennonite Disaster Service: Crisfield, Maryland
    • While in Maryland, students will be helping MDS’ mission to elevate 100 houses that were damaged due to extreme flooding that happened in Oct. 2021. They will learn more about the community of Crisfield, while connecting with leaders and teams already there.
      • COST: $50.00
      • DATES: March 10, 2024 - March 16, 2024
 
  • Praying Pelican Missions: Maui, Hawaii
    • While in Maui, students will be helping in the restoration and reconstruction of the island following the 2023 fires. They will be learning from the community of Maui, and will help facilitate youth outreaches, soil restoration, and will work directly with PPM and Watershed Alliance.
      • COST: $250.00
      • DATES: March 9, 2024 - March 15, 2024

Please note that with PPM, you may be staying in Transitional Living (i.e. Tents/Shelters) for the duration of your service experience.
